In order to keep our HOA fees reasonable, members do most of the work of maintaining our property and keeping the community humming.

We require each adult member to put in 8 hours of work per month, plus participate in work parties each quarter, and serve on at least one team. In addition, we urge members to attend village meetings twice a month, 3 hours each. These meetings are where the decisions making happens.

This might sound intimidating but consider how much more work you would be doing in a single family home.  Some residents do considerably more than the eight hours. Some do the minimum.  We try to accommodate special needs and circumstances if you let the participation team know in advance.
